Can a single roll of plastic redefine a fashion show?
Typically static fashion shows are less dynamic
than catwalk events with observers finding their
own path through gallery style spaces potentially
missing the best views of the work.
For the Blow Presents Live exhibition for London
Fashion Week [Y/N] Studio asked whether this could
be re-considered and improved. The introduction of
a continuous ribbon of mirrored fabric transforms
the space and presents a more defined path to
visitors. Ceiling mounted elements offer new and
unusual views down on the garments while curved
backdrops manipulate and exaggerate details making
them visible from across the room.
