Can a faceted extension direct views away from neighbours?

[Y/N] Studio were approached to provide a single storey extension to a recent development in West London.

The extension provides three apartments in a set back single storey addition. The use of a recessed zig-zag window pattern to the rear maximises the natural light while also mitigating issues with overlooking neighbours. Vertical brickwork blends with the material pallate of the existing building while subtly marking it as a new addition.
